The unexamined life is not worth living - Socrates

A life of a person who does not look critically at himself is not worth living, according to Socrates. Critical thinking is one of the most important skills for employees in the 21st century, according to the World Economic Forum. Critical thinking is not a luxury good.

That is just one of the reasons why it was great pleasure to give a lecture this week for Leiden University of Applied Sciences together with critical thinker, writer and lecturer Parisa Elah-Madadzadeh on the theme "Critical View and Economics": critical thinking from an economic perspective.

It was fun to do this with the lovely Parisa and great to contribute to education and critical thinking for students in the Netherlands.
